‘Whatever your chosen career path is ensure that you develop your transferable skills along side your specialism.  Not only will this make you more marketable but it will give you a wider range of job possibilities,  that will be invaluable when we have a downturn in the economic climate and job market.’ Shirley Ryall, Consultant Psychologist, The Ryall Connection

Throughout your time at Oxford Brookes you will be developing a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience. Some students will go on to pursue a career directly related to their degree subject, while others will choose to use their skills and experience in new areas. Take a look at our graduate profiles to find out about the different choices some of our ex-students have made.

The links below provide targeted careers information and advice for students from each of the Academic Schools, based on the more common career paths chosen by students from these schools. However, it is important to bear in mind that 60% of advertised graduate vacancies are open to graduates of any discipline and so your options are not necessarily limited by the subject that you have studied.

The Careers & Employment Centre services are fully available to you and FREE for up to 3 years after graduation. Go to the What we do for you section to find out about services and when we are open, or email us at careers@brookes.ac.uk.
