Expert Patients Programme
EPP provide self-management courses for people living with long-term heath conditions, through the NHS and other organisations interested in running self-management courses. We were created to enable people to have greater access to free courses, designed to support them in improving the day to day management of their condition. We are the market leader in developing specific, innovative new programmes and tailoring existing courses, responding to the challenging needs of participants and to changes in the purchasing models of key customers.

Headway Oxford
A Registered Charity offering support and understanding to people affected by brain injury accross the county. We work with individuals and families of people who have had traumatic injuries due to accidents or assaults, and with people with acquired brain injuries through events such as brain haemorrhages, tumours, or infections. We provide a range of services both in the community and in our day centre, which compliment the formal rehabilitation provided by health professionals.

Leonard Cheshire Disability exists to change attitudes to disability and to serve disabled people around the world. Our principle activity in the UK is the provision of services in support of disabled people in the widest context. These services include care homes, support living, domiciliary support, day services, resource centres, rehabilitation, respite care, personal support and training and assistance for those looking for work. We operate in all parts of the UK and are the largest voluntary sector provider of care and support services for disables people.

"Active Friends" are volunteers who form a group that represent Maggie's in their local area and help to raise money and awareness in local communities. To get involved you don't need experience - you just need good organisational skills, to enjoy bringing people together and to have a passion to improve Cancer support in Oxfordshire.

OMEGA
OMEGA is the support group for people with ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and their carers. Members can benefit from contact with other people who recognise and understand the illness. Members give each other friendship and support, exchange information about treatments, and learn from each other about the management of this long-term illness. We have regular meetings and socials and run successful campaigns for better treatment.

Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre
A group of women committed to supporting survivors of sexual abuse, rape, domestic abuse and harassment. We offer a free and confidential service to women and girls who are dealing with the effects of sexual violence. OSARCC will be recruiting new Listening Service Volunteers soon. Rethink
The Gemini Project in Oxford is a community resource and support service for people living with severe and enduring mental illness. Members are assigned a key worker wo is able to work with them through the recovery process by meeting with them on a regular basis to identify their individual needs and desires in order to formulate an agreed action plan that they can be supported with in working to. All volunteers are required to attend our six week foundation training to equip them with the essential skills and knowledge required for them to volunteer sucessfully in supporting people and gain the most benefits from their placement.

Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder provides individualised, compassionate care services to people with end of life and long-term needs. We offer this in people's own homes, in the community and in our hospices and care centres. We also support families, friends and carers.
