Helping decision making

The model we use with clients to encourage career planning and decision making is:

Step 1 Assess Yourself

Take stock of your skills, interests and motivations

Step 2 Find out what’s out there

Research a range of possible opportunities and jobs

Step 3 Make a list

Narrow it down to a shortlist of possible jobs and occupations related to your skills, interests and motivations

Step 4 Make a choice

Identify an area of work that will be possible and enjoyable

Step 5 Make yourself employable

Get some skills and experience

Step 6 Get that job

Find the opportunities and target your applications
